Buderim Concert Band's 2010 Masterclass was a day of fun, learning and community. We welcomed lots of visitors from all over the coast. This event was sponsored by The Buderim Foundation.

| | Under the baton of Masterclass Director, Dr Peter Morris, everyone enjoyed a stimulating musical day getting three challenging pieces ready for presentation at the Masterclass Concert in the evening. A rollercoaster of music! Here Inez (BCB Musical Director) and Peter grab a caffeine fix before the day got underway. Click here for more photos. |

| | Buderim Concert Band finally presented their two concerts at Jandowae and Durong over a cold June weekend. Here we are with our audience in the garden at St Paul's Anglican Church, tucking into wonderful home baking. See pics here.
| After having to postpone our first trip due to drought-breaking floods, it was a joy to finally arrive at Jandowae for our Saturday afternoon concert. We welcomed Nova (BCB Past President now residing in Kingaroy) who joined us on her trombone. After a great concert and eats, many of us retired to the Exchange Hotel for the best roast dinner in the West. Next day, we drove to Durong to present a second concert and eat some more good country food. Thankyou to the Jandowae and Durong hosts, and sponsors. $2000 was raised to support Jandowae-Durong community projects.

Buderim Concert Band started the Anzac marchers on their way down Buderim's main street on a perfect autumn morning.
| |
| We played a few gentle Australian favourites while the marchers assembled, before hitting our stride with a succession of rousing marches as they stepped off. See lots of pics of the day here.

| | Buderim Concert Band's Anzac Concert pulled a big Buderim crowd. The music from the Band and other performers drew lots of positive comment from the audience.
| Thankyous go to Allan Davies of the Sunshine Coast Caledonian Pipes and Drums who opened the concert with a bagpipe procession; to Malcolm Colclough, President Maroochydore RSL SubBranch who lead the formal Anzac ceremony; to Andy Aitchison who played The Last Post and Rouse; to Colin Fraser and Elizabeth Barnes who presented piano, poetry and singing items; to the Con Brio Choir of Our Lady of the Rosary School, Caloundra, who sang three songs; to the afternoon tea people (Anzac biscuits - yummy) and to all members of Buderim Concert Band led by Musical Director, Inez Durrer. See pics here.
